PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile phone having a simple configuration.SOLUTION: Directional pattern of a directional variable microphone is automatically switched into right or left depending on a mobile phone whether it is held by the right or left hand. Directional pattern of the microphone is switched into right or left depending on whether either one of cartilage conduction parts at both corners of upper part of the mobile phone is put on the ear. Directional pattern of the microphone is automatically switched into right or left depending on the inclination of the mobile phone. When an air conduction speaker is used, the directional pattern of the microphone is automatically switched into the middle. When the mobile phone is in a horizontal state, the directional pattern of the microphone is automatically switched into the wide-angle. A stereophonic audio input process is conducted on the basis of the output when the directional pattern of the microphone is set to the wide-angle. Whether the mobile phone is put on the ear or not is detected by a proximity sensor, and the directional pattern of the microphone is switched automatically. |
