PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a degassing device of a die cast, and a degassing method for preventing the gas of molten metal supplied into a cavity of a mold in a die cast device from being entrained.SOLUTION: A gas filter 100 is provided on a plunger sleeve 44 opposite to a position on a low-speed injection action side from a switching position from the low-speed injection action to a high-speed injection action of a plunger 58 for supplying moltem metal 90 stored in the plunger sleeve 44 into a cavity 30 of a mold 12, and discharges gas in the plunger sleeve 44 to the outside.
