PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid heating device and the like capable of increasing a temperature of fluid such as simulation exhaust gas to a prescribed temperature precisely and in a quite short period of time.SOLUTION: This fluid heating device comprises a changing-over mechanism 4 for changing-over a direction of fluid flowing through a heating flow passage 13 between a normal direction and an inverse direction and inverting it; a temperature increasing region S1 where fluid flowing in a normal direction flows out of the heating flow passage 13 and passing through it; an opposite region S2 where flow flowing in an opposite direction flows out of the heating flow passage and passing through it; a temperature adjusting mechanism 14 for adjusting a temperature of fluid flowing in the temperature increasing region S1 and the opposite region S2; and a control mechanism 4 for controlling the changing-over mechanism 4 to make the heating flow passage 13 into an inverse flow state where the fluid flows in an opposite direction, controlling the temperature adjustment mechanism 14 in such a way that a temperature of fluid flowing in the opposite region S2 under the inverse flow state may become a pre-set desired temperature, after this operation, controlling the changing-over mechanism 4 to cause the fluid to flow in a normal direction to attain a normal flow state. |
