PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an operation failure of a heat pump caused by frost formation while using a heat pump using a capillary tube as pressure reducing means of a refrigeration cycle.SOLUTION: The clothes dryer includes: an outer case; a drying chamber which is provided in the outer case and which has an exhaust port and an air supply port; a circulation air path which is provided outside the drying chamber and which communicates the exhaust port and the air supply port; a blower which is provided in the air circulation path and which circulates the air in the drying chamber and the air circulation air path; a heat pump which includes a refrigeration cycle comprising by connecting a compressor, a condenser, a capillary tube and an evaporator in a closed loop by a cooling medium tube, and in which the evaporator is provided in the circulation air path and in which the condenser is provided in the circulation air path on the downstream side from the evaporator with respect to the air flow; and control means which suppresses frost formation in the evaporator by controlling the compressor and the blower. |
