PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminaire capable of maintaining satisfactory illumination light ensuring well visibility without depending on lighting conditions.SOLUTION: A luminaire 1 includes: a white light source W; plural red light emitting devices 14a-14d; and a circuit unit 4 capable of independently controlling the output of the light from white light source W and the red light emitting devices 14a-14d. The circuit unit 4 is configured to control the number of the plural red light emitting devices 14a-14d to be lit so that the light output from entire of the plural red light emitting devices 14a-14d matches the light output from the white light source W.
