<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate replacement method and device for a printer, capable of shortening work time needed for plate replacement and reducing burdens on an operator.SOLUTION: In plate replacement of a combination printer which performs printing by using a printing plate W fixed to a plate vise device of partial plate cylinders 67, a collective plate cylinder 69 and plate cylinders 75 of a Sammeldruck printing unit 61 and an offset printing unit 62, the plate replacement device includes: a cylinder preset for replacing the printing plate while manually fixing and releasing the printing plate to/from the plate vise device; a semi APC for replacing the printing plate while automatically fixing and releasing the printing plate to/from a chuck side plate vise 81 and a butt side plate vise 82; a cylinder preset selection switch 28; a semi APC selection switch 29; and a plate replacement controller 10 capable of executing the plate replacement by plate replacement means selected by the selection switches.</p> |
