The present invention relates to a coil lift which can automatically move or load a hot coil manufactured in a steel plant and a steel mill to a desired position without a driver′s manipulation. The coil lift according to the present invention moves a coil, a steel product, by a crane in the vertical and transverse directions. The coil lift comprises a Y-shaped lift which has a pair of vertical parts, which can be adjusted from side to side, and an operating part disposed at the upper sides of the vertical parts and of which upper side is connected to the crane; shoes disposed at the vertical parts of the lift; a driving shaft having a sprocket disposed at one side to fix the shoes to the lift to be able to rotate; a driving motor which has a sprocket to operate the driving shaft by being connected with the driving shaft through the sprocket; a pair of bars disposed at the driving shaft; and a pair of electrode sensors which are connected to a controller, disposed on the lift in such a way as to cross at right angles to each other, and with which a bar rotating by the driving shaft comes into contact. |
