PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fume hood capable of preventing a finger or the like being jammed between a stopper member and a front gate.SOLUTION: In the fume hood is formed a front gate 15 that is moved up and down for opening and closing a front opening of a processing chamber, and a stopper member 16 is disposed such that when the front gate 15 is moved up to a predetermined height, it contacts the front gate 15 to inhibit the gate from being moved up and also releases the contacting state to allow the front gate to move up further. The stopper member 16 is configured to inhibit the front gate 15 from moving up by contacting a contacting portion 52 formed on the stopper member 16 with a contacted portion 34 formed on the front gate 15, where the stopper member 16 is supported rotatably by a shaft that is in the same plane as and in parallel with the front gate 15. |
