PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of easily producing a display device having an intended cell gap.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a display device related to one embodiment of the present invention comprises steps of:providing a display material (e.g., liquid crystal 9) within a display area A1 surrounded by a photocurable adhesive agent 8 in a first substrate 5;laminating a second light-transmissive substrate 6 on the first substrate 5 to form a laminate 7;providing a first substrate pressing part 4 on the opposite side of the second substrate 6 with respect to the first substrate 5;providing a second substrate pressing part 3 including a light transmissive part 12 and a light shielding part 13 on the opposite side of the first substrate 5 with respect to the second substrate 6, making the light transmissive part 12 correspond to an arrangement area of the adhesive agent 8, and making the light shielding part 13 correspond to the display area A1; and radiating light on the light transmissive part 12 of the second substrate pressing part 3 while pressing the laminate 7 with the first substrate pressing part 4 and the second substrate pressing part 3. |
