<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor material and a method for manufacturing the same, shortening steps of cutting, bending, adhering, etc. of a skin material, having high designability, and excellent in impact absorptivity and feeling.SOLUTION: A floor material is manufactured by integrally molding a skin material and a core material consisting of a semi-rigid urethane foam, and a surface and at least a part of lateral faces thereof are covered by the skin material. A method for manufacturing the floor material includes: a setting step for setting a pre-processing skin material having a predetermined shape above a recess of a lower mold having a recess corresponding to a shape of the floor material, with the pre-processing skin material having a surface part corresponding to the surface of the floor material, a lateral face part corresponding to at least a part of the lateral face of the floor material, and a surplus part; an inserting step for pressing and inserting the skin material to the recess of the lower mold by a first upper mold having a protrusion, with a clearance when pressing the first upper mold and the lower mold having a shape including the skin material, the surplus part of the pre-processing skin material being cut when the upper mold and the lower mold are pressed; and a foam molding step for injecting an expandable mixed liquor into a clearance between the lower mold and the first upper mold and performing foam-molding thereof.</p> |
