<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power tool capable of identifying the type of a secondary battery.SOLUTION: The electric power tool includes: an input terminal for an overdischarge protection signal that contacts an output terminal for an overdischarge protection signal of a secondary battery and acquires an overdischarge protection signal from the secondary battery; and control means that acquires, through the input terminal for overdischarge protection signal, information about time constant of a RC circuit connected to the output terminal for the overdischarge protection signal in the secondary battery and identifies the type of the secondary battery based on the information about the time constant.</p> |
