摘要 Disclosed in the present invention is a method for controlling the negative pressure of a brake of a vehicle, which can actively form suction pressure necessary for braking by converting catalyst activity control into deactivation when urgent braking is required in a state where the catalyst activity control is executed after the ignition. The method comprises as follows: a process of determining whether or not the activity of a catalyst device proceeds after an engine ignition; a process of determining whether or not the operation of a brake pedal requires urgent braking in the activity state of the catalyst device; a process of determining whether or not a brake booster actuating negative pressure is satisfied by detecting the pressure of a suction manifolder when urgent braking is required; and a process of increasing the suction negative pressure of the suction manifolder by converting the activity control of the catalyst device into deactivation control when the pressure of a suction manifolder cannot satisfy the brake booster actuating negative pressure according to the urgent braking requirement.
