The present invention relates to a system and a method capable of providing an advertisement using a ring back tone based on the information of the current location of a caller. The present invention preferably comprises: requesting, by a ring back tone server, an advertisement serer to select the advertisement content when receiving a request for ring back tone delivery from a call processing serer according to a call connection request from a calling terminal; selecting, by the advertisement server, advertisement content to be provided to the calling terminal according to the request for a selection of the advertisement content, based on the information of the current location of a caller, which is obtained by a link with a location information server, and delivering the selected advertisement content to the ring back tone server; and providing, by the ring back tone server, the advertisement content received from the advertisement server to the calling terminal as a ring back tone, before the call connection is established. Therefore, the present invention enables advertisements to be provided to the callers who are located in an area where a store actually exists, thereby inducing the callers to visit the store and purchase goods.
