A glow plug according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a pipe-shaped metal housing having a hollow formed therein; a heat-generating tube having one opened end combined with the hollow and having the other end sealed; a heat-generating coil arranged inside the heat-generating tube; an insertion shaft arranged along the hollow to be mounted in the heat-generating tube and having the surface thereof ground; a temperature-measuring member installed in the heat-generating coil; and a fixing member arranged at the end of the insertion shaft to attach and fix the temperature-measuring member. By the composition, the temperature inside the heat-generating tube having the heat-generating coil placed therein can be measured accurately. |
