The present invention relates to a rope fixing apparatus for a rope type fence, which is installed to fence up a place in which various types of buildings, parks or gardens are developed and built, to protect the place and to improve aesthetic quality of the place. The rope fixing apparatus for a rope type fence prevents rust from being generated by rainwater, thereby making the fence used semi-permanently, improves external appearance while preventing negligent accidents and is installed on the shore without spoiling the landscape. The rope fixing apparatus comprises at least one base unit which is attached to a column material in a longitudinal direction; a rope clip which is attached to the base unit, has screw parts on both ends and allows a rope to pass therethrough; a nut unit combined with the screw part of the rope clip; and a rope clip storage unit which is installed on the upper end of the nut unit and which vertically moves along the outer circumferential surfaces of both ends of the rope clip corresponding to the diameter of the rope.
