The present invention relates to a street lamp having a parasol, which comprises: a prop installed on the ground and extended upward; a lamp part installed at the upper part of the prop and irradiates light outward; multiple main ribs whose one ends are hinged on the prop′s outer circumference in the lower side of the lamp part and separately installed along the circumference of the prop; a moving body installed to be slid up and down on the outer circumference of the prop positioned separately downward from one end of the main ribs; multiple sub-ribs whose both ends are hinged with each of the main ribs; an awning supported by the main ribs; and an elevating unit elevating the moving body upward to rotate the main ribs upward for unfolding the awning. The street lamp of the present invention can form a shade during the day through the awning even without installing extra sun-blocking means; in addition, the awning is automatically folded during the night when the lamp part turns on. |
