The method involves fixing a base plate (1) in a wall of a subaquatic basin or a strongly wet zone by embedding, where the base plate includes a primary coil (3) and constitutes an electromagnetic connection element to create a magnetic field from an alternating current voltage. The base plate is powered by a voltage source. A plug (5) is directly or indirectly connected to an apparatus. The plug is fitted in the base plate to place windings in a concentric way and to allow transfer of energy by magnetic coupling between the plug and the base plate. An independent claim is also included for an electromagnetic connection device used in a subaquatic or strongly wet medium.
