An icemaker and a refrigerator having the same are provided to guide cool air to be supplied directly to a bottom of an ice making tray to cool the ice making tray promptly, thereby reducing ice making time. An icemaker includes an ice making tray(31) for freezing water to make ice, and a cool air guide device(40) guiding cool air to a bottom of the ice making tray. The cool air guide device includes a cool air guide plate installed at a lower part separated from the bottom of the ice making tray, and a plurality of protrusions(47) formed at a top side of the cool air guide plate to guide cool air flowing along the top side of the cool air guide plate to an ice making tray bottom direction. |
