The installation has a water-cooled condenser (8) for cooling of water coming from an air/water type heat exchanger (1), and an internal condenser (11) to heat water by heat exchange with a refrigerant from a compressor (10). The condensers form a single condenser (CU) including an internal water circulation circuit (20) connected with a coolant circuit of a thermal engine (3) when a hybrid car is in a mode of propulsion by an electrical motor, and connected with the air/water type heat exchanger when the car is in a mode of propulsion by the thermal engine.
