The purpose of the present invention is to provide a module for detecting the slope of a vehicle to improve fuel efficiency and to secure safe driving using the slope information. A slope sensor quickly and accurately detects information on the slope of the vehicle by using a controller which detects the slope of the vehicle within predetermined time intervals in proportion to the vehicle speed. Especially, the present invention uses the detected slope of the vehicle to increase the fuel efficiency by allowing the vehicle to start in second gear on a downhill and to prevent the vehicle from slipping on an uphill for safer driving. |
