PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of lithium hexafluorophosphate is provided to manufacture lithium hexafluorophosphate of a high purity and a high yield by heating to a boiling temperature or higher and reacting in gas phases when pentafluorophosphate is produced by reacting phosphorus trichloride, chlorine, and hydrogen fluoride. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of lithium hexafluorophosphate comprises steps of: manufacturing pentafluorophosphate by reacting phosphorus trichloride, chlorine, and hydrogen fluoride, manufacturing a lithium fluoride solution by dissolving lithium fluoride in hydrogen fluoride, reacting the pentafluorophosphate with the lithium fluoride solution, and manufacturing hexafluorophosphate by mixing with trichloride, chlorine, and hydrogen fluoride at a molar ratio of 1:1-5:5-14.5.
