The system has a suction cup (11) such as electromagnetic suction cup, that is intended to be connected to a separation door, and a backing plate (13) that is intended to be connected at a fixed part of a passenger compartment of a transportation unit i.e. bus, or conversely. The suction cup is applied against the backing plate in a locking position of the separation door. An adjustment unit such as standard kneecap (12), is arranged for adjusting position of the suction cup with regard to the backing plate or conversely. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a separation door (2) a passenger compartment.
