<p>The invention relates to a method for producing a spacing embossment (14) on a pendular system including a damping pendulum (2) movably mounted on a pendulum carrier, the embossment (14) being arranged on one of the surfaces of these two elements in order to prevent the plane-to-plane contact thereof, wherein a tool (4) having a shape complementary to that of the embossment (14) is used for producing a matrix on an area of the surface S in order to obtain said embossment by plastic deformation on said surface S, arranged adjacent to the matrix surface.
