A POLYPROPYLENE RESIN COMPOSITION REINFORCED WITH A LONG GLASS FIBER AND MOLDED ARTICLE USING THE SAME

The present invention relates to a long fiber-reinforced polypropylene resin composition and a molded article using the same. The long fiber-reinforced polypropylene resin composition is used for a crash pad of a vehicle. The long fiber-reinforced polypropylene resin composition includes: (A) 100 parts by weight of a matrix resin comprising 30-100 weight% of a propylene homopolymer and 0-70 weight% of a propylene-ethylene copolymer; (B) 50-70 parts by weight of long fibers; (C) 20 to 50 parts by weight of a vinyl-based compound selected from a group constituted by a styrene-based polymer, a diene-based polymer, and a styrene-diene copolymers; and (D) of 1 to 15 parts by weight of a filler of which the length is from 5-20mm. The long fiber-reinforced polypropylene resin composition: has an excellent impact strength and fluidity; has a low specific gravity; and thus is capable of formation of a thin film and reduction of weight when used in the interior and exterior of a vehicle.
