The present invention relates to a clean engine with a simplified circular channel for cooling water, which is capable of simply configuring the circular channel for cooling water among an engine block, a cylinder liner, and a cylinder head structure. The clean engine of the present invention includes an engine block (100) having a cylinder bore (116) corresponding to the number of cylinders, a cylinder liner (200) inserted into the cylinder bore (116) of the engine block (100), and a cylinder head block (300) seated such that an upper surface of the cylinder liner (200) directly faces a lower surface of the cylinder head block; a liner cooling chamber (122) is provided as a space receiving cooling water between an inner wall of circumference of an upper side of the engine block (100) and an outer wall of circumference of the cylinder liner (200); a connecting channel (206) is provided in a flange part (204) of the cylinder liner (200) to connect the liner cooling chamber (122) and the cylinder head block (300); an annular intermediate chamber (320) communicating with the exit of the connecting channel (206) is provided between the lower surface of the cylinder head block (300) and the upper surface of the cylinder liner (200); and a direct channel is punched in the cylinder head block (300) to connect from an upper part of the intermediate chamber (320) to a channel for cooling water (302) inside the cylinder head block (300).
