The method involves forming a hollow body (32) and a retaining plate (34) of a connection part (30) from a single profile (P) that is made of composite material by a continuous manufacturing process. The profile includes a cylindrical outer protective envelope and two sole plates connected by a solid core. The two sole plates are parallel. The profile is made from high performance fibers i.e. polymeric matrix and carbon fibers. Reinforcements are placed on both sides of each lug (38) of the retaining plate, and are made of metal.
