<p>In order to provide a monitor device that, under conditions of restricted width dimensions of an attachment section, can attach a monitor having a width that is at least said width dimensions, this monitor device (1) holds a monitor (2) in a rotatable manner, and is provided with a holding section (3), a rotating section (9), and a rotation selection section (13). The holding section (3) holds the monitor (2). The rotating section (9) can rotate the monitor (2) with respect to the holding section (3). The rotation selection section (13) enables the rotation of the monitor (2) only when the monitor device (1) is not in a powered state.</p> |
