The rotational torque confinement clutch (100) has a roller (104) that is slid in a space between an inner ring (102) and an outer ring (103). A helical spring (107) is located between the roller and the outer ring. A plate (105) is arranged at an inner periphery of the outer ring. The helical spring connected to the roller is compressed or pulled apart along a space between the plate and the outer ring, in response to the movement of the plate. An independent claim is included for a method for limiting the amount of torque by rotational torque confinement clutch in engine.
