The installation comprises: a bucket (1) comprising a receiving bowl (2) for receiving a piece of dough to be processed, and a conveyor device (3) with an endless conveying unit (8) for conveying the receiving bowl in a conveying direction (4); and a processing device for processing the dough in the receiving bowl. The receiving bowl is detachably arranged on the endless conveying unit and removed from the endless conveying unit. The receiving bowl is attachable to the endless conveying unit without using tools. The receiving bowl comprises a first connecting unit. The installation comprises: a bucket (1) comprising a receiving bowl (2) for receiving a piece of dough to be processed, and a conveyor device (3) with an endless conveying unit (8) for conveying the receiving bowl in a conveying direction (4); and a processing device for processing the dough in the receiving bowl. The receiving bowl is detachably arranged on the endless conveying unit and removed from the endless conveying unit. The receiving bowl is attachable to the endless conveying unit without using tools. The receiving bowl comprises a first connecting unit. The endless conveying unit comprises a second connecting unit provided for releasable direct connection to the first connecting unit. The second connecting unit is movable between a connected position and a release position. The first connecting unit and the second connecting unit are detachably connected to one another in the connected position, and the receiving bowl is detachably arranged on the endless conveying unit. In the release position, the first connecting unit and the second connecting unit are out of connection, and the receiving bowl is released from the endless conveying unit. A spring or securing element forces the second connecting unit into its connecting position. A release unit is provided for moving the second connecting unit into its release position. The release unit has a release arm for temporarily moving the second connecting unit into the release position. The first connecting unit is provided as receptacle bolt, and the second connecting unit is provided as a locking pin. The first connecting unit is a positive connection unit or a friction engaging unit, and the second connecting unit is a positive connection unit or a friction fit unit. The endless conveying unit is an endless conveyor chain with a link plate, where the receiving bowl is releasably attached to the link plate. The link plate comprises an outer chain link plate member and an inner link plate member, where the receiving bowl is adjacently positioned in the outer link plate member. The receiving bowl is entirety removed from the endless conveying unit without using the tools. A multi-point support such as three-point support is arranged between the link plate and the receiving bowl. An independent claim is included for a bucket conveyor.
