The present invention relates to a mobile terminal capable of providing a sound recording function, and a control method thereof. The mobile terminal according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a recording function unit for recording an external sound; and a control unit for matching inputted additional information to the sound while the sound is recording, wherein the control unit displays a graphic image indicating the progress of the sound recording on a display unit, and displays, near the graphic image, notification information to indicate the input of the additional information. |
