PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing paper capable of evading stain in a papermaking system while maintaining the size properties of the paper to the one equal or above that of the conventional one.SOLUTION: The method for producing paper is characterized in that, in the production of paper including the dilution of pulp slurry with white water, within 15 s before and after the dilution with the white water before a fan pump, (1) a water-dispersible size agent including an alkenyl succinic anhydride and, as cationic substance, either or both of (2) a cationic coagulant and (3) a water-soluble aluminum compound are added. |
