PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outer tube for a syringe which enables a user to visually check a long diameter part side and a short diameter part side of a flange of a syringe easily and enables quick loading work of an automatic administration device, and a prefilled syringe using the same.SOLUTION: An outer tube 2 for a syringe includes: an outer tube body part 21; a nozzle part 22 provided on a distal end side of the outer tube body part 21; and a flange 23 which is provided on a proximal end side of the outer tube body part 21 and protrudes outward. The flange 23 has two straight parts 24a, 24b provided to face each other and to be approximately parallel with each other, and on side faces of the straight parts 24a, 24b, visible parts 25a, 25b which enable a user to visually check the straight parts are provided. |
