<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which requires no additional detection circuit detecting a leak caused between a carrier such as a magnetic roller and a carrier such as a developing roller, except a detection circuit detecting the leak between the carrier such as the developing roller and an image carrier.SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: a shunt resistor R detecting a current flowing on a connection path P3 reaching a magnetic roller 73 from a photoreceptor drum 14 and on a connection path P4 reaching a developing roller 72 from the photoreceptor drum 14, as a detection current; and a supply leakage voltage detection part 102 which fixes a development voltage, increases a toner supply voltage stepwise within a period in which the development voltage is fixed constant, and executes detection processing for detecting the toner supply voltage when the change amount of the detection current within a predetermined time is changed beyond a change reference value, as a leakage voltage causing the leak between the magnetic roller 73 and the developing roller 72.</p> |
