<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire condition monitoring system making it possible to simplify a structure by decreasing the number of components while employing a short-distance wireless communication system.SOLUTION: A tire condition monitoring system includes wheel-side units 3 that are incorporated within respective tires 6 on plural wheels 2 of a vehicle and that each include a pressure sensor 11 and temperature sensor 12 which detect the condition of each tire 6, and an NFC tag 14 which acquires data detected by the pressure sensor 11 and temperature sensor 12 and transmits the data. The tire condition monitoring system further includes a handheld communication terminal 4 that includes an NFC reader writer 20 which acquires data from the NFC tag 14 through short-distance wireless communication.</p> |
