<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a baseboard device capable of compactly storing tread members.SOLUTION: A baseboard device for a foothold includes: a long baseboard body (19) fixed facing an outer edge part of a foothold board; and a long tread member (20) elongated from the lower end of the baseboard body toward a top face of the outer edge part of the foothold board. The lower end of the baseboard body (19) and the base end part of the tread member (20) are pivotally connected to each other by a hinge (23), and are configured by the hinge so as to rotatable between a storage attitude (P1) in which the tread member (20) is overlapped onto the baseboard body (19) and a use attitude (P2) in which the tread member (20) is developed from the storage attitude toward the top face of the foothold board. A pivotally connecting fulcrum (R) of the hinge (23) is provided at a position (Q2) deflected to an outer space side more than to an overlapping face (Q1) of the tread member (20) and the baseboard body (19) which overlap mutually in the storage attitude (P1).</p> |
