PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous ink for ink jet recording which is excellent in dischargeability, fixability to a recording medium, and image preservability at high temperature.SOLUTION: An aqueous ink for ink jet recording contains a coloring agent and polyester-containing resin particles (A). A polyester-containing resin, which composes the polyester-containing resin particles (A), is a graft polymer comprising a main chain segment (A1) composed of a polyester resin and a side chain segment (A2) composed of an addition polymerized resin. The volume median particle diameter of the polyester-containing resin particles (A) is 0.005-0.070 μm. |
