PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator which is easily fabricated and has high reliability.SOLUTION: An actuator 1 which performs a movement by virtue of a contraction actuation accompanied by heat generation of a shape memory alloy 4 includes: a mover 3 having a first protrusion part 3t of protrusive shape or a hollow part 2k; a stator 2 which has the hollow part 2k arranged opposite to the first protrusion part 3t when the mover 3 has the first protrusion part 3t, or has the first protrusion part 3t arranged opposite to the hollow part 2k when the mover 3 has the hollow part 2k; and a fitting means which presses either one side of the mover 3 and the stator 2 toward the other side while stretching the shape memory alloy 4 between the mover 3 and the stator 2, is fixed to the other side and fits the mover 3 and the stator 2 with an elastic force of elastic members 6a, 6b. |
