PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a 4-methyl-1-pentene polymer film which is excellent in biaxial stretching formability.SOLUTION: In a method for manufacturing a 4-methyl-1-pentene polymer film for biaxial stretching where a 4-methyl-1-pentene polymer is melt-extruded in a film shape from a die and then made to pass between a pair of rolls to produce the 4-methyl-1-pentene polymer film, the roll linear pressure to the film-shaped melt-extruded product passing between the rolls is 0.1-90 kg/cm.
