<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrochemical device in which the change of capacitance or DC resistivity can be reduced after reflow and float tests, and to provide a separator for use therein.SOLUTION: In a separator for electrochemical device, at least a part of the surface is composed of cellulose silylated with a trialkylsilyl compound, and the total number of carbon atoms of three alkyl radicals of the trialkylsilyl compound is preferably 3-20. At least one of the three alkyl radicals is preferably a branched alkyl radical, and more preferably a branched alkyl radical of 3C-5C. An electrochemical device including the separator is also provided.</p> |
