The support structure (1) has upper bracket element (2) and lower bracket element (3) which are connected with flexible hinge system (4). The flexible hinge system includes a connecting link (5) which is interchangeably connected with bracket elements. An adjusting spindle (6) is arranged on opposite side of flexible hinge system to connect the bracket elements, and is fixed by closure lever (7). A camera holder (8) is arranged in upper bracket element. An independent claim is included for a support assembly.
