PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indoor unit of an air conditioner capable of suppressing increase of turbulence noise generated from a cross-flow fan with a simple constitution.SOLUTION: An indoor unit of an air conditioner includes; a stabilizer disposed near a front part of a cross-flow fan 7; and a rear guider 9 positioned at the back of the cross-flow fan 7. The stabilizer 8 is composed of a circular arc-shaped thin extended portion 8b directed to an upstream portion through an approximate circular arc portion 8a facing the cross-flow fan in a projecting state, from a front guide 10 connected to a supply opening, keeping a prescribed distance from the cross-flow fan, and recessed to the cross-flow fan, and a tip at an upstream side, of the extended portion has a step 12 enlarged in the direction opposite to the cross-flow fan. Thus increase of turbulence noise generated from the cross-flow fan 7 can be suppressed, and the effect can be realized with a simple structure only by forming the tip of the extended portion of the stabilizer into the shape of the step enlarged in the direction opposite to the cross-flow fan. |
