PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform analysis with high degree of precision.SOLUTION: In this method of analyzing a frame body having a pillar 2, a beam 3, and a bearing frame 5: the pillar 2, the beam 3, and a bracing member 4 of the frame body having the pillar 2, the beam 3, and the bearing frame 5 composed of the bracing member 4 are replaced by a pillar 2, a beam 3 and a bearing frame 5 composed of the pillar 2 and a bracing member 4, each of which is composed of wire rods and has a prescribed length; a frame body model including the length, joined portion and joining method of each wire rod as well as the coefficient of elasticity and cross sectional area of each wire rod is created; and a computer performs analysis on the basis of the frame body model and an analysis condition in which a load is applied to the frame body model. In creating the frame body model, as a cross sectional area of the bracing member 4 possessed by the bearing frame 5, a corresponding equivalent cross sectional area is selected from a table prescribed on the basis of a distance between the pillars 2 possessed by the bearing frame 5, the length of such pillars 2, and a distance between the pillars 2 located on both sides across the bearing frame 5. |
