<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus which allows a user to determine in which direction the user rotates a focus ring in focus adjustment in order to obtain a desired image.SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus includes: imaging means; communication means of communicating with an interchangeable lens for guiding an optical image of a subject to the imaging means; acquiring means of acquiring through the communication means, relationship between the rotation direction of a focus ring of the mounted interchangeable lens and the moving direction of the focus lens; storage means of storing a wide-side image picked up with the focus ring of the interchangeable lens put on a wide side of a focusing position and a telephoto-side image picked up with the focus lens put on a telephoto side of the focusing position; and display control means of performing control to display the wide-side image and telephoto-side image in an arrangement corresponding to the relationship acquired by the acquiring means, between the rotation direction of the focus ring of the interchangeable lens and the moving direction of the focus ring.</p> |
