PURPOSE: A communication system, packet network, apparatus, and method thereof are provided to increase advertising effects by outputting a service provider identification sound instead of a ring-back tone. CONSTITUTION: A circuit network(200) includes an additional service unit(230) which stores a sound source code corresponding to a service provider identification sound. A packet network(100) acquires the sound source code corresponding to the service provider identification sound of a network service provider and the sound code corresponding to the service provider identification sound of the network provider who is mutually subscribed in a transmission terminal and a reception terminal from the additional service unit by receiving the session connecting request message of a transmission terminal(401). The service provider identification sound corresponding to the packet network is provided to the transmission terminal. |
