PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminaire consuming a smaller power.SOLUTION: A luminaire 7 includes: a light source unit 34 having an LED; a human detection sensor 41 for detecting a person; a control unit 51 that sets the dimming level of the LED in accordance with a detection result of the human detection sensor 41. From a beginning of night time zone to a point that a predetermined first time elapses, the control unit 51 sets the dimming level of the LED to a first dimming level irrespective of the detection result of the human detection sensor 41. After the first time elapses, the control unit 51 sets the dimming level of the LED to a second dimming level lower than the first dimming level. When the human detection sensor 41 detects a person in a state that the dimming level of the LED is set to the second dimming level, the dimming level of the LED is set to the first dimming level during a predetermined period of time. With this, compared to the case the dimming level of the LED is maintained to the first dimming level, the power consumption is reduced. |
