PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate magnification of an enlarged image.SOLUTION: Generation means 3 generates an image in which a high frequency is removed from an input image. First calculation means 5 calculates a high frequency component of a given value or more in a spatial frequency component of the input image as a first spatial frequency component characteristic value. Second calculation means 7 calculates a spatial frequency component of the input image as a second spatial frequency component characteristic value. Determination means 9 determines whether a block noise is present or not in each of pixels. Magnification estimation means 11 removes a pixel determined to be a block noise by the determination means 9 from sum object pixels, and estimates for the remaining pixels that as a difference between the first spatial frequency component characteristic value and the second spatial frequency component characteristic value is smaller, magnification of the input image is larger. |
