PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of estimating the positions of sound sources even when the sound sources are arranged by small angle difference and distance.SOLUTION: A sound source position estimation device includes: reflection means that is formed of a base material capable of reflecting sound and is disposed close to multiple microphones to thereby allow each microphone to collect one or more reflection sounds with respect to sounds that have emitted from each one of multiple assumed positions of estimation object sound sources; a transmission characteristic storage unit for storing transmission characteristics including the influence of the reflection sounds generated by the reflection means from the multiple assumed positions of the estimation object sound sources to the multiple microphones; a spread sensing unit for obtaining indexes expressing the high probability for the presence of the estimation object sound sources at assumed positions through the use of observation signals of frequency areas to be obtained from the multiple microphones and transmission characteristics corresponding to the multiple assumed positions; and a sound source position estimation unit for estimating positions corresponding to indexes expressing the high probability for the presence of the estimation object sound sources as the positions of the estimation object sound sources.
