<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of requiring a cutting insert capable of excellently discharging chips even when having a flat drag.SOLUTION: The cutting insert 1 based on one mode of the present invention comprises an upper surface 3, an under surface 5, a side surface 7 respectively connected to the upper surface 3 and the under surface 5, the flat drag 13 positioned in an intersection part between the upper surface 3 and the side surface 7, a first main cutting edge 9 and a second main cutting edge 11, and the flat drag 13 is constant in a height from the under surface 5, and is larger in an inclination of the second main cutting edge 11 to the under surface 5 than an inclination of the first main cutting edge 9 to the under surface 5 in a side view, and is larger in the inclination of the second main cutting edge 11 to the flat drag 13 than the inclination of the first main cutting edge 9 to the flat drag 13 in an upper surface view.</p> |
