<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an athletic instrument capable of performing not only the training of an upper half of body but also the training of a lower half of body.SOLUTION: Handles 5 and 7 are individually fixed to two ends 3C and 3D of an elongated elastic member 3, and a connection structure 31 is provided to connect the handles 5 and 7. The connection structure 31 is constituted of retained portions 33 and 35 disposed at the handles 5 and 7, respectively, and a retaining member 37 to be retained on the retained portions 33 and 35. The retaining member 37 is equipped with an operation portion, and is constituted such that it is brought into an open state by the releasing operation of the operation portion and a closed state by the connecting operation of the operation portion. The retained portions 33 and 35 and the retaining member 37 are constituted such that the retaining member 37 can be retained on the retained portions 33 and 35 when the retaining member 37 is in the open state, and such that the retaining relations between the retained portions 33 and 35 and the retaining member 37 cannot be released when the retaining member 37 is in the closed state.</p> |
