<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tandem vane compressor capable of increasing the discharge capacity per rotation of a driving shaft, excellent in mountability, and capable of developing excellent mechanical efficiency and a reduction in the power loss.SOLUTION: The tandem vane compressor includes a front housing 1 and a front side plate 11 forming a suction chamber 43, and a rear housing 3 and a rear side plate 15 forming a discharge chamber 53. A back pressure supply passage has a first downstream passage 69d formed in a center side plate 13 to communicate the discharge chamber 53 with each first back pressure chamber 33, and a second downstream passage 69e formed in the center side plate 13 to communicate the discharge chamber 33 with each second back pressure chamber 39. In a housing, a low-pressure chamber 61 and a low-pressure passage 15b are formed which stores the rear end of a driving shaft 25, and which communicates the suction chamber 43 with the low-pressure chamber 61, respectively.</p> |
